College of the Transfiguration

College of the Transfiguration (COTT) is the Anglican Church of Southern Africa’s provincial residential seminary in Makhanda (Grahamstown), dedicated to forming Christ‑centred leaders for ordained and lay ministry through Anglican worship, rigorous theological study, and practical parish experience in a supportive community.

The College of the Transfiguration is the ONLY residential Anglican seminary within the Anglican Communion of Southern Africa.

The College partners with dioceses in the formation of future clergy and church leaders through academic study, worship, community life, and practical ministry.
